Few clicks for installing Joomla!

Joomla can be install maually or with the help of Fantastico. Manuaaly installation is generally preferred by advanced users. Users who want to make close look with installation process.

With the help of Fantastico you can install joomla in few clicks. This process need the following steps to b complete:

  1. First of all log into your cPanel and click on the blue smiley icon present at the bottom of the page.
  2. Then select ‘Joomla’ from the menu list on the left-hand side and click New Installation appearing in the right-hand side.
  3. A form will appear in front of you. You hav to put the necessary information neede for your your joomla, as follow:
  4. * Install in Directory - If you want to use Joomla for your home page, just leave this field blank. Basically this determines the address where your Joomla installation will be accessible at.
    * Admin access data - Put username and password for accessing the administration panel of your Joomla installation.
    * Base Configuration Admin e-mail - Put e-mail address here
    * Admin full name - Put your full name
    * Site Name - Put the name of your website here that will be displayed on the front page

  5. After filling this form click on “install Joomla” button.
  6. Confirm the installation on next page.

Now your joomla installation is complete. You are reday to start making your website.
