Little About RSS and Social Bookmark

By: Mandeep

Social Bookmark

Social bookmarking is a way of storing links that you like, and sharing these ‘collaborative opinions’ with other people.Adding social bookmark links to your blog or web site makes it easy for readers to save and share your content.

Social Bookmark Button

The social bookmark button is a button that you can place on your website that contains the most bookmark services so visitors can easily add your site to their favorite bookmark service. Adding the bookmark button to your site is a sure way to have your site bookmarked by one of the many social bookmark services or the users browser, and receive more returning and new visitors as result of it.

To incorporate the Social Bookmark Button within your website, create an account on Addthis and login to get your social bookmark button code.

RSS Subscribe

Syndicating your own website content is a great way to provide information to your readers with little or no effort. Using RSS, your updated content is delivered to individuals who have subscribed to your feed automatically. RSS is a simple XML-based system that allows users to subscribe to their favorite websites. Using RSS, webmasters can put their content into a standardized format, which can be viewed and organized through RSS-aware software or automatically conveyed as new content on another website.

Most people are interested in many websites whose content changes on an unpredictable schedule. Examples of such websites are news sites, community and religious organization, information pages, product information pages, medical websites, and weblogs. Repeatedly checking each website to see if there is any new content can be very tedious.

Email notification of changes was an early solution to this problem. Unfortunately, when you receive email notifications from multiple websites they are usually disorganized and can get overwhelming, and are often mistaken for spam.

RSS is a better way to be notified of new and changed content. Notifications of changes to multiple websites are handled easily, and the results are presented to you well organized and distinct from email.

RSS Subscribe Button

The RSS subscribe button is a button that you can place on your blog that contains many RSS subscribe services, so visitors can easily add your site to their favorite RSS subscribe service. Adding the RSS subscribe button to your site is a sure way to have your site subscribe by one of the many RSS subscribe services or the users browser, and receive more returning and new visitors as result of it.

Feeds are typically linked with the word “Subscribe”, an orange rectangle , or with the letters RSS or XML . Many news aggregators publish subscription buttons for use on Web pages to simplify the process of adding news feeds.

Google AdSense: “InVideo Ads To Target Users”

Google last week announced it is extending its InVideo Ads to its AdSense network of Web sites.

Last summer, the Mountain View, Calif.-based search giant introduced InVideo Ads—semitransparent, banner-like placements that appear once video clips start playing—as a less-intrusive alternative to pre-roll video spots.

By extending them to AdSense—the company’s ever-growing network of small- and mid-sized sites for which it supplies text and video ads—Google says it will be able to deliver online video ads that are contextually targeted.

As Web video ads continue to gain popularity, Google has run several test programs on its AdSense network, including a user-initiated, click-to-play offering inviting users to sample short snippets of content.

Until now, however, video ads on Google remain in their infancy, and the company continues to derive most of its revenue from search ads.

Google has yet to name any advertisers signing up for the new service. Among the publishers participating at the outset are the Web sites VidShadow, Mondo Media and JoeCartoon.

To help boost Web publishers’ acceptance of InVideo Ads, Google has also partnered with a handful of advertising platform and network companies, including Brightcove, Yume, Tremor Media and Eyespot Network. —MS

Tips to get more leads In SEO

By: Mandeep

The aim of your Internet marketing efforts is to find as many targeted leads as possible & getting those leads to visit your web site and then converting them into subscribers and lifetime customers.

To make people come and keep on coming back you have to have something to offer at your site. If you don’t have a reason for people to go to your website then they won’t come. If you are a source of information that people need then people will go to your site when ever they need that info. If they can find it better some where else then they will.

#1. Write a Blog that generate leads:

To get leads you should start a blog then write and post material to the blog. Blogging is a way of collecting links to web pages and sharing thoughts and ideas with people online.

To See Your Product On The Internet write “worthy” articles aimed to teach your audience something which should have lots of very practical tips or advice.

Blogs are easy to create, easy to maintain, search-engine-friendly, allow you to interact with your customer base. Many great blog hosts are free.

In order to influence people into contacting you and feeling compelled to use your service, you must establish 3 things:

  1. people like people they can relate to
  2. people trust people that they consider authorities
  3. people like people that uniquely understand their problem

#2. Create white paper to qualify leads:

In particular, the white paper focused on the best way to take advantage of this economic opportunity. Reach recent immigrants by marketing to them in their native language. Visitors could read only a portion of the article online: they had to provide a name, email address and phone number to download a PDF of the entire article.

Identified key words and phrases from the text that would position the white paper on search engines then, use those terms in the page header and description.

#3. Enhance incoming links from relevant sites:

Search engines analyze the number and relevance of incoming links to help assign a web site’s natural search results.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Finding top ten sites from the search of companies top 20 keywords
  2. Analyzing websites to identify the highest google page rank from those 10 sites
  3. Send email to most relevant and highly ranked third party sites to do trade links

#4. link to web form should be at eye catching positions and Test design:

Besides the white paper, free quote form should be available on website. To make people come and keep on coming back you have to have something to offer at your site. On registration some discount can be offered to the visitor.

In Design Test:

  1. Place links as per your wish at any place as per of the page.
  2. Use attractive images as a cake, a flower or piggy bank for the online promotion link.
  3. Make use of photographs of human face to make a quote request link.

“FOLLOWING THESE TRAFFIC STRATEGIES U WILL GET THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE SEARCH ENGINE RANKING AND A FLOOD OF NEW VISITORS with INCREASED PAGE VIEWS, DECREASED BOUNCE RATE, INCREASED TIME ON SITE”
