Fed-up of Ebay Fraud? 5 Easy Tips to Avoid It!

By : Admin

Ebay Fraud - Ebay Paypal

eBay Inc. is the world’s well-known online marketplace where huge number of buyers and sellers could trade for almost anything. It is the worlds biggest shopping and auction site. eBay recently has acquired famous entities like PayPal, Skype and many others. since eBay’s founding in 1995 it has become the world’s largest place to buy and sell, a community of hundreds of millions of regular people, small businesses, and even big businesses from all over the world.

Such big websites always make sure that people do not loose their trust in them. For this purpose, time to time, they draft many policies to encourage financial transactions for products and on line markets usually function by the principle that people can trust each other. However, sometimes it becomes really difficult to combat fraud and eBay is not an exception to this, as it can not check and verify each and every listing to make sure they are valid. Here are some steps for a more protected buying system on eBay.

  • It is always safer to check the product and the seller before the transaction. Make sure that you cross check before the bis every time. A few minutes of precaution (careful reading of products description and buyer’s details) will save your energy and money.

  • Do not get fascinated by the advertisements as they generally exaggerate the product. There are a number of great deals available on eBay, but make sure that they are real. Compare the price of the product with that in your local market and be cautious at the time of bidding.

  • Do not forget to review the details about payment beforehand. Make sure that you have inquired properly about the shipping charges and refund policies. Also, do not overlook the warranty clause.

  • Make sure that you do not forget to compare the original product with the photo so that you do not loose on the smallest details. This will save your from scams and dishonest transaction. Also, make sure that you are not buying an overpriced item.

  • It will be better if you could contact the seller directly, either through e-mail or over phone. Also, make sure that you grab details about accessories well in advance.

Try to imbibe the above mentioned practices in your eBay transaction and you will be then saved from fraud. eBay is a place to shop, a place to collect and moreover, its free for buyers and inexpensive for sellers. Trading on eBay is easy and it’s fun! Best of all, you’ll never know what you can find! A little awareness can save you from big losses in terms of energy and money.

By : Nidhi Gupta

Forums - SEO

Nowadays everyone is hanging out on some or other forums. Most people do not put any thought into posting things in forum. People have started using forums to promote their products or services, they sound like spammers. As forums are not meant for promotion, they are basically for sharing knowledge. Here are the few tips to make your forum posting worth.

  1. Post only if you have something worth for others, it may be not a service or product only that you offer. It can be anything worth for everyone.

  2. Try to be original, go ahead with your queries and ask questions, to get more information you want. When you get an answer that satisfies you and helps, please make a final post to acknowledge that, so that people aren’t left wondering if it’s an open issue.

  3. Try to be more professional, never post about your own personal disputes with any particular person or company .

  4. Always be tactful with your words, having different point of views shouldn’t result in using bad language. Avoid talking poorly about someone and never harass anyone.

  5. Be more patient, even if someone misunderstands your post try to explain rather than quiting and just removing the post. Try to make it more real and interesting. And besides, the only way we learn is by being teachable.

  6. Do mention about your products or services but in appropriate place, that is in a relevant thread and be more graceful. It should be in accordance to query.

  7. Don’t mention about your products unnecessarily , and dont even try to drag the discussion to bring it up to your industry.

Keep in mind, people on the forums are taking time out to volunteer and help other people out. Please be aware and considerate, and try to “help others help you”, and not make them work to help you.
