The Dmoz Meta Admin “Motsa” just updated today the status of the technical problems over at the Open Directory Project, Dmoz.org.
You can see the frequently updated post at the resource-zone.com forums (the Dmoz Editor forums that is open to the public)
While the Editor Application System is still down with no ETA when, or if it will become available again, did the Editor Feedback Forms as well as the Dmoz Abuse Form become available again.

My coworker Jeremiah Owyang says he’s not switching from Google Reader until at least a few other people in his trusted network switch too. In reaction to news that Adobe has entered the feed reader race with “myFeedz”.
I briefly checked out the Adobe Reader. It’s missing three things that I find addictive about Google’s Reader: well-thought-out keyboard commands, “read-all-feed-items-at-once in a ‘River of News’” and ability to share feed items with others. If your feed reader has those three things, then I want to hear about it and try it out and see how it compares with Google’s Reader.

Search engine optimization is relatively simple when you own your own website. However, if you have signed up with some affiliate program and have been handed a URL for your affiliate link and it has seventy-two characters, a question mark, looks exactly like the website everybody else got, and you have no control over META tags, content, or appearance, how do you optimize that?
YOU CAN’T!
However, there are some steps you can take to perform many of the search engine optimization tactics and techniques so that you can enhance your website traffic.
CREATE YOUR OWN, RELATED, WEBSITE(S).
One simple way to kick off the process is to simply register your own domain name, create a website that provides valuable content related to your affiliate program and send information seekers from your website to the affiliate link you were given. Since you own the website, you DO have control over content, META tags, linking, and all the other normal tools of search engine optimization.
