There are many special Yahoo search properties that are not part of its searchable subject index and search engine listings. Here are a few, including Yahoo Music, Yahoo News, Yahoo Games, etc.
Yahoo Search
- Yahoo News: Worldwide news, breaking news, odd news, even obituaries are included in the Yahoo news site. I especially enjoy the slideshows.
- Yahoo Maps: Get maps, driving directions, and real-time traffic reports with Yahoo maps.
- Yahoo Weather: Find out what the weather’s like not only in your neck of the woods, but all over the world with Yahoo Weather. Includes full coverage of major storms, satellite images, snow finders, and a national flu report when season-appropriate.
- Yahoo Movies: View previews, clips, get showtimes, and see what’s coming up over at Yahoo Movies.
- You can also view a huge alphabetical list of movies that have been out for a while, and most have trailers and clips as well.
- Yahoo Fantasy Sports. How cool is this! Yahoo Fantasy football, auto racing, baseball.. you name it, you can play it.
