Whenever we check the link popularity of the site in Google we use the following syntax:

link:www.domainname.com

and it shows the number of sites linking back to you but if we try something different like if we search for :

www.domainname.com in Google then we get the following 4 result links

Google can show you the following information for this URL:

• Show Google’s cache 
• Find web pages that are similar to
• Find web pages that link to 
• Find web pages that contain the term

link to feature displays the same as result as link:www.domainname.com
