Mirror Websites

Mirror Websites

Mirror web sites have identical content but different URL?s. This method is used for gaining high search engine rankings.

What are mirrored pages?

A mirror page is generally created containing relevant keywords in order to rank higher in search engine rankings. A mirrored page is not just a blank page with a link that redirects you to the home page, but a content rich page with an average balance of keywords. If you have web pages with specific areas that concentrate on —-products or services then special web pages can be created for the purpose, rich with keywords and meta tags concentrating on the same. Search Engines give priority to URLs containing keywords. For example: you have a site that deals in machine spare parts, you can specify the same in the URL as www.buy-machine-spare-parts.com (the above information is only for the search engine and that client information can be found on your central site). The mirror page have done the job when the customer has arrived from the search engine.

Once the keyword selection has been made you need to build a mirror page for each keyword / keyword phrase and they should be specific for each search engine. All the major engines look for different keyword density in the text, title and description so all you need to do is some research for the specific keywords chosen and study the top 10 results at each search engine. Just place the keyword in the search engine find box and look for the results, if your web site appears in the search engine, you have won the struggle.

When you’re web pages are ready to be submitted to the Search Engines, remember to submit only one page each day 24 hours apart. You can create a links page which contains the links to the rest of the web pages. This way you can submit just the links page and let the search engine crawl and do the work for you.

Mirror pages are a great way of increasing the website traffic. One important point is never over pack your mirror pages (keyword stuffing) this would be considered spamming and your website will be removed from the search engine database.
